MINERVA DE LEÓN
Minerva studied architecture in Spain and Rome, qualifying with a Masters degree in 2014. During this period, she was selected by the university to work as a research assistant, committed to intelligent and sustainable design in tropical and subtropical climates. Following this she moved to London, gaining international experience working on a number of large-scale masterplan projects involving leisure and cultural buildings. Minerva joined Trehearne Architects to be involved in the early design stage of projects and bringing knowledge of working with BIM. She also has experience in competition design, having won a number of international competitions including ‘Kossuth Square 6-8’ Design Competition in Budapest and ‘Basra Gateways’ in Iraq. Minerva became an Associate in 2019 and is passionate about developing concepts and ideas in architecture. She has a wide range of interests including the arts, design and travel.
